On November 20, Eterna Open House 2020 was successfully held in Shanghai with the theme that grabs the core concept of the brand, "Simply good". Hundreds of packaging industry colleagues were gathered in Eterna.
Mr. Jean-Pascal Bobst, CEO of Bobst Group, through recorded video, delivered an opening speech and welcomed the guests. He said that since 2011, Eterna has been an esteemed member of the Bobst Group family. To better serve the customers and ensure continuity in the relationship between customers, BOBST and ETERNA are pursuing a two-brand strategy. He expressed his thanks to all guests for being loyal supporters of ETERNA, and of Bobst Group.
This year we saw very important events for Eterna:
- A new corporate identity to position Eterna as a solid and reliable brand – “Simply good”allowing brand recognition
- The acquisition of YANCHENG HONGJING MACHINERY TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.
Dr. Johnson Xie, Manager Director of Eterna made a keynote speech about the milestones of 25 years of Eterna's history and future development strategy. Eterna's solid and reliable brand positioning is clearer through brand upgrading strategy. The acquisition of Hongjing is a part of a strategy to successfully improve and continuously widen Eterna's product portfolio.
Afterwards, Strategic Partnership Agreements were signed with seven key group companies, which means a long and cooperative relationship in the future.
The most important part of the event is the new product launch. We showed the new ECUT 1450 series equipment, e-LINE 2.0, along with ECUT 1060 ER, EFOLD 1450 and 900 with Quality Inspection options, EFOLD 1700 and EFOIL 1060 ELITE during the demonstration. At the end, more than two dozen customers enthusiastically signed purchase agreements of various different types of equipment.
